If you’re looking for a challenging internship with lots of interesting insights into a global player’s operation combined with a great international working environment, P&G is the right choice for you.

I joined P&G in November 2015 as part of the Crailsheim Distribution Center Team. My main objective is to write my master thesis which is the last step to complete my master degree in Engineering and Management at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). I was looking for a demanding master thesis topic most preferably related to process analyses and optimization. I was hoping to find a project with an impact on a real industrial problem; additionally I wanted to gain an impression of the daily business in a leading consumer goods company. All my expectations have been exceeded. My project is about the evaluation of automated intralogistics solutions including the implementation of the chosen alternative. As an intern at Procter & Gamble, I was valued as an active team member from the beginning. I got the chance to take over responsibility for my own project but still got the help I needed from my colleagues and managers.

Compared to my experiences from previous internships in German companies, my impression is that P&G has a very flat hierarchical structure and a culture that seeks for innovation and changes. I love the attitude within the company towards diversity in culture and gender, and it is very valuable to have colleagues with different personalities. Last but not least, an internship at P&G is really the door opener to explore your professional opportunities within the company.
